The Hindu festival of “Holi/Phagwa” was taken to Trinidad by Indian Labourers in the 19th century and is celebrated within the Indian Diaspora. The energetic bursts of coloured powder creates an atmosphere of fun and unity. The  hindi word “Ranga” meaning colour is the name for this section
